2019 Honda Passport: Embark On a New Journey

Designed to be your partner when exploring new places, the 2019 Honda Passport practically combines utility and athletic spirit. Honda includes a wide range of standard equipment on every model to help you while commuting or when you’re on the trail. Three trims comprise the 2019 lineup: Sport, EX-L, and Touring.

The Adventure-Ready Exterior of the 2019 Honda Passport

The exterior of each Passport begins with a sturdy front fascia, which asserts itself with clean lines that extend to the rear. All trims have standard 20” aluminum-alloy wheels that provide the height and performance you need on and off the road. The LED lights will illuminate a path for you when you need it to and the roof rails form an extension of its cargo capabilities. The front wiper de-icer will help keep your windows clear in Canadian weather.

The EX-L trim adds a power tailgate, memory-linked side mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down, an acoustic windshield, and more. The Touring model upgrades the tailgate to hands-free.

Real Power for Extraordinary Journeys in the 2019 Honda Passport

Only one engine is necessary for the Passport because it checks all the boxes. A 3.5-litre, 24-valve, i-VTEC V6 engine provides 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Intelligent Variable Torque Management System diffuses the Passport’s power to all four wheels thanks to the all-wheel-drive system, giving you precise power where it’s needed. And when the road gets messy, Vehicle Stability Assist helps you keep control.

The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control, which is right at home both on busy city streets as well as on mountain trails. With all this power and performance, the Passport has a frugal fuel consumption rating of 12.5/9.8 l/100 km (city/highway).

Each Passport’s interior is full of standard features that will keep you comfortable, safe, and entertained. Heated front seats, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote engine starter, one-touch power moonroof, and a Display Audio System with HondaLink are just a few of the features you’ll find—even in the base model.

The EX-L upgrades to leather-trimmed seating surfaces and driver’s seat position memory, while the Touring adds a 550-watt audio system, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and many other features you’ll just have to experience with a test drive.
