The 2019 Honda Civic Sedan: A Renewed Tradition

Now in its tenth generation, the 2019 Honda Civic continues to dominate the subcompact class as a result of its innovations, efficiency, and design. The refreshed 2019 model line has six different trims to choose from: DX, LX, EX, Sport, Touring, and Si.

Plenty of Great Exterior Features in the 2019 Honda Civic

The updated exterior will turn heads wherever you go. The aerodynamic roof, flowing lines, and unique front end deserve your full attention. The aesthetics blend with the practical equipment to make driving in Canada easier. The base DX has 16” wheels fitted with all-season tires to maximize your Civic’s performance in changing weather.

The LX enhances visibility with auto on/off projection-beam headlights. When the weather’s perfect, the EX’s one-touch moonroof will let it all in. The Sport model adds style and traction with 18” wheels, while the Touring trim adds visibility with LED exterior lighting, rain-sensing wipers, and much more.

Reliable Performance and Fantastic Efficiency in the 2019 Honda Civic

The DX, LX, EX, and sport trims have a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that generates a solid 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. The Touring model’s turbocharged 1.5-litre version boosts horsepower to 174 and torque to 162 lb-ft, which is a great horsepower to weight ratio. It gets even better with the sporty Si, where the same engine outputs 205 horsepower.

The DX and LX have a six-speed manual transmission with a combined fuel consumption of 8.0 l/100 km, while all other trims (LX optional) have the efficient CVT automatic transmission that helps lower consumption to just 7.1 l/100 km. All models feature the ECON button, which assists in efficient engine operation.

Each Civic interior has many standard features that you would find in luxury sedans. The DX’s HandsFreeLink wireless mobile phone interface, rearview camera, and remote entry enhance convenience and safety. The LX adds entertainment and comfort features such as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Display Audio System, and heated front seats.

EX owners will enjoy a refined dual-zone automatic climate control with a special air filtration system, remote start, and a driver’s seat with eight-way adjustments. The racing-inspired Sport model has aluminum-trimmed sport pedals, while the Touring trim bumps up the luxury and technology with HD Radio, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, voice recognition, and more. All trims feature a suite of driver assist technology.
